The driver controls the speed or acceleration of the car with the help of the accelerator cable, or throttle cable. This cable forms a connection between the accelerator pedal and the throttle body. It has an outer casing made of metal and rubber, while the inner cable is built with metal wire.
When the clutch pedal is pressed, the cable is used to interrupt the transmission, allowing you to change into the right gear. It does this by pulling on the clutch lever, which presses the clutch trust bearing against the clutch pressure plate, which then disengages your clutch from your engines flywheel.
Clutch Cables are uite elastic and wear out gradually. Without maintenance they may suddenly snap.
